Chose who you fellowship with

I grew up in a non-Christian, divided home, and witnessed various kinds of domestic abuse.

In my early teens I met God and started going to church as often as I could with my father. Throughout my teenage years I felt very bad, and I started to be more and more with Christians who did not live according to the Bible.

Almost everyone in my life, Christians and non-Christians was living in different variations of broken homes, this made me worry throughout my teenage years how I would be as a wife and mother!

I never had any real role model that showed me what I wanted to give my future children, a stable home!

I had an idea of what it would look like but had no idea how to achieve it!

It was when I started studying the Bible I found the order there should be in a Christian marriage 1corinthians 11:3 Ephesians 5:22-23 and I realized that I had never in my life seen a marriage built on the principles, where God should come first followed by husband/wife, then the children and then everyone else.

That is when some pieces fell into place, and I started to understand my own doubts and worries!

Another verse I always carry with me is 1 Corinthians 10:21 NLT You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons too. You cannot eat at the Lords table and the table of demons too.

You must choose who you want fellowship with in life.
